Thursday, April 17, 2014
Dinner Meeting, 6 - 9 pm Courtyard Marriott, Culver City

Session Abstract: As cloud computing has moved from the pure hype to mainstream adoption, the cloud forecast, has gotten a bit “less cloudy”. While awareness of cloud computing continues to increase confusion persists about the cloud’s potential and applicability – what’s real and what’s not. We will address what is currently being accomplished in the cloud, what has the biggest impact, and what has the best potential for the future. We will also take a look at what the cloud influences technologically, especially in its convergent technologies of Big Data, Social Media and Mobile, and look at how the cloud affects the future role and identity of IT professionals.
